New President & CEO
The Board of Governors of Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Chatelain as Chief Executive Officer of the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital.
Paul worked as the Vice President, Financial Services at Renfrew Victoria Hospital in Renfrew, Ontario. He held this position since August 2000. Prior to this he held positions with the Canadian Institute for Health Information and the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Paul Chatelain is a Certified Healthcare Executive, has a Masters of Health Administration and is a Certified General Accountant. Paul is looking forward to this new role, relocating to Red Lake and becoming involved in the community.
The Board of Governors conducted an extensive executive search across Canada which produced a strong slate of potential candidates. The Board is confident that Paul’s skills, experience and abilities will provide the leadership required for the hospital to achieve its goals and continue to provide the highest quality health services to the Red Lake and Ear Falls district. It is anticipated that Paul will commence his new position in mid October.
