We have a Stroke Bypass Agreement, in effect! If you think you are having a stroke, dial 9-1-1 to ensure you get the appropriate treatment, as quickly as possible! The ambulance can transport you DIRECTLY to the nearest stroke facility (Dryden)!

For several months now, RLMCMH has been working with various community partners on the Hospital Indigenous Patient Experience Working Group. The purpose of this group is to share and generate ideas for improving the Indigenous patient experience in our facility, as well as to provide a safe and open forum for communication and learning.
One of the first projects that has been undertaken by this group is the Fire Circle Gathering Area.

We would like to take this time to acknowledge the heartbreaking discovery of the remains of the 215 children at the residential school in Kamloops.
The residential school system is a tragic and traumatizing part of our Nation's history. Our hearts and minds are with these children, their relatives, and their communities, today and everyday. We all play a role in the healing and reconciliation process as we work through this especially difficult time, both as healthcare workers and as community members.

We request that all visitors and out-patients bring their own mask. We will provide a medical-grade mask if your condition requires it.
